In wire extruders, the plastic wires we commonly use are PVC plastic wires, which are actually a type of composite plastic product. When producing plastic wires, it is first necessary to use a plastic granulator to produce the required plastic pellets according to the quality of the wire surface, and only then can a wire extruder be used for extrusion production.

A plastic granulator is also a type of plastic extruder. Before production, it needs to be heated, and then the prepared raw materials are fed into the extruder screw through the granulator's feeding system for processing. Finally, the plastic particles are extruded through the mold of the plastic granulator into the plastic pellets we need. After the plastic pellets are produced, a plastic extruder is required to produce plastic filaments. Taking the production of a single plastic filament as an example, we introduce the production process of plastic filaments.

We select the appropriate model of plastic wire extrusion machine based on the size of the plastic wire. There are generally fewer types of plastic wire extrusion machines, usually produced by 30-type plastic extruders and 45-type plastic extruders. The plastic extruder needs to be preheated before production, and the machine is only started when the equipment temperature reaches the required level, at which point plastic pellets are fed into the extruder's feeding system. The plastic extruder is equipped with a T-shaped die; the metal wire core is pierced through one end of the T-shaped die and fused with the PVC plastic extruded from the machine to form the desired product shape. After the product is cooled with water, the wires are wound together using a winding machine, completing the final production of the product.
